About Shane

Shane began his ministry with the First Church of Christ in November 2008. He is currently in his 18 th year of active ministry. He has held three ministries. Shane has also had the honor to preach in over twelve states. He has held many revivals, men's clinics, and family camps. Besides being in the preaching ministry, he is also a Bible professor at Summit Theological Seminary.

Shane’s ordination into the ministry took place May 2000 a year after starting Bible College. He went on to graduate from Louisville Bible College, Louisville, KY with a Certificate, Associate and with his Bachelor of Sacred Literature. From there, he went on to earn his Master of Sacred Literature from Summit Theological Seminary, Peru, IN. From there, Shane went on to earn his Doctorate of Biblical Studies with a major in Biblical Preaching from Master’s International School of Divinity, Evansville, IN. Shane has also earned a Doctoral Certificate with a major in Preaching from Trinity College of the Bible, Newburgh, IN. He has also done continued studies in the Greek language.

Shane is married to Vicki, his wife of 13 years. They have two daughters Kambren and Tori as well as one son Zeke. Shane and Vicki have one grandson Liam. He is very proud of his wife who does a wonderful job as a homemaker and within the ministry. She is also a loving supporting wife who focuses on our Lord.

Shane also has a love for the outdoors and is a woodsman. He enjoys deer hunting, fishing and hiking with his family. He also enjoys learning wilderness survival. He is a student of the Pathfinder School, Midwest Native Skills Institute and the Woodsman School. He has earned many certifications. Shane teaches wilderness survival with Wilderness Trailblazer School.

This love of the Bible along with his love for the outdoors has enabled him to share his witness about Jesus Christ to all who are around. No matter what part of life it is, it's all about Jesus Christ, Lord, King, and Savior. Life is all about Jesus.
